The concept of Password

Every digital confidential data is depends on two things Password and Encryption, Encryption can be extend by its encryption level but password it’s still at it same basic level

Is there is a way? And I believe and 90% of user defined passwords are unsecured because its contain something like birthday, home address or part of a name, so how passwords can be secured? And is there is a alternative for the passwords?
